Yoga is the science of activating your inner energies to such a vibrant and exuberant state that your body, mind, and emotions function at their highest peaks.

About

AnaHatha offers classical Hatha Yoga, structured by Sadhguru, derived from a yogic tradition maintained in its full purity and vibrancy for thousands of years, which is a phenomenally powerful science. It is a system that is precisely and meticulously put together as a means of reaching higher dimensions.

The Hatha Yoga practices have been designed to develop mental clarity and focus, boost vigor and vitality, balance hormonal levels and take years off the body, bringing a sense of lightness and freedom.

Hatha Yoga is imparted not as a physical exercise, but in its full depth and dimension, enabling a person in the most fundamental way, to flower into their ultimate potential.

Currently we offer classes in Cologne (Germany).

What we refer to as Yoga is a technology to make your energies function by choice and not by compulsion or fixed patterns.

The Teacher

Namaskaram, my name is Polina. I've attended my first yoga class in 2015. At that time I was practicing and shortly thereafter also teaching Vinyasa Yoga in New York.

One day I discovered a video of Sadhguru talking about life, spirituality and yoga. Listening to his wisdom was like hearing something I once knew but had forgotten. Sadhguru seemed to have the most logical and profound answers, his perspective would always be surprising.

And so it happened that after an injury, I was not able to practice Vinyasa. In an attempt to keep at least some simple form of yoga in my life, I have started the free practices which are available on the Sadhguru App. After just the first time practicing the most simple practices I have experienced a state of calm, centered, balanced and focused, like never before. I asked myself if those simple practices are so powerful, what would the advanced practices do?

Sure enough I started learning all available practices one after another and each practice was different from the other and attended to different aspects. But above all, I started experiencing a very high amount of energy and vibrance, and I knew this was what yoga was supposed to feel like.

Eager to bring this experience to everyone else, I attended the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program offered by Sadhguru Gurukulam at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, India in 2021. The intense 5-month (1750 hrs) training, with 7 hrs of physical practice daily, was designed by Sadhguru to offer classical Hatha Yoga in its purest form to the world. The training was designed in very detail to help us not just learn and imbibe the material and the practices; but to transform during these 5 months. Experiencing this transformation, the beautiful and supporting lifestyle of the ashram, as well as countless realizations about my existence on this planet, fuels my desire to offer classical Hatha Yoga.

Today I am happy to be able to offer Sadhguru's teachings in my home town, Cologne, Germany.
